Career Development Statement – Preparing for the Future
Through our career development programs, we equip youth with the tools and experiences needed to explore career paths and transition into professional roles.
Military & Civilian Career Exploration: Through hands-on learning and mentorship, we provide real-life exposure to military careers, technical trades, and corporate industries.
*Next Gen Navigator: A toolkit and support group helping youth understand VA processes, benefits, PTSD, and adaptive needs, ensuring they are empowered to advocate for themselves and their families. This unique element provides youth-led webinars with experts and a digital handbook for navigating life as a Wounded Warrior dependent. (Military Lifestyle Transition Toolkit Program)
Internships & Apprenticeships: Opportunities for youth to gain real-world experience in military-affiliated and civilian career fields.
Resume & Interview Preparation: Professional coaching in resume writing, interview skills, and workplace etiquette to enhance job readiness.
High School JROTC Support Initiative: Our mentors provide limited but impactful support to high school JROTC (HSJROTC) programs, offering guidance through physical training, leadership development, and mental resilience resources to help cadets excel academically and personally.
Career Fair Participation: We actively participate in career fairs to connect talent with opportunities. We foster professional growth, networking, and career advancement by servicing these events and inviting qualified candidates.
